This focused, one-day cadaveric course is run by the Dundee Surgical Skills Centre. It offers you a unique opportunity to develop advanced skills in transorbital surgery.

The course is built on from the formal FESS course. This specialised training provides you with the chance to expand your anatomical knowledge and technical ability in approaching the skull base through transorbital corridors.

The course brings together an expert multidisciplinary faculty of ENT, ophthalmic, and neurosurgeons. This ensures a broad and comprehensive perspective on techniques, indications, and clinical applications.

With a strong faculty-to-delegate ratio, you will benefit from close supervision and personalised guidance. This will take place while working in the safe and controlled environment of the cadaveric laboratory.

You will have the opportunity to explore and practice the commonly utilised transorbital approaches. You will gain confidence in their application. You will also learn how these techniques can be used in your endoscopic skull base approach algorithm.

This course is ideally suited to surgeons with an interest in advanced endoscopic approaches. It is also suited to those wishing to refine their surgical repertoire with hands-on, practical experience.
