This is a structured competence-based surgical dissection course utilising separate programmes for three temporal bones on embalmed specimens.
Providing hands on experience using embalmed cadaveric material this two day course will cover:
- Posterior Myringoplasty
- Anterior Myringoplasty
- Ossiculoplasty
- Stapedectomy
- Attico Antrostomy
- Cortical Mastoidectomy
- Interior Tympanotomy
- Modified Radical Mastoidectomy
- Radical Mastoidectomy
- Three Canal Bony Labyrinthectomy
- Transmeatal Labyrinthectomy
- Translabyrinthine Exploration of the Internal Canal
- Endolymphatic Sac Decompression
- Facial Nerve Decompression
- Singular Neurectomy
- Posterior Fossa approach to the Internal Auditory Canal
- Middle Fossa approach to the Internal Auditory Canal
- Exposure of the Jugular Fossa
- Cochlear Implant
- Transcochlear approach to the Petrous Apex
The course is ideally suitable for ENT trainees.
