It is our great pleasure to invite You all to our next 28th Biennial Symposium of the International Evoked Response Audiometry Study Group, which is the primary meeting of world researchers in the field of auditory evoked potentials.
The worldwide pandemic forced us to change the way we met in 2021. We were able to organize an innovative online meeting, which allowed a lively exchange with excellent scientific presentations, student sessions and a virtual industrial exhibition. More than 400 scientists, clinicians and students from diverse backgrounds working in all areas of auditory evoked responses out of 35 countries participated!
We are now looking forward to meeting in person in 2023! A great program awaits us with the Hallowell Davis lecture, excellent guest lectures on different topics, scientific presentations, special student sessions, workshops and industrial presentations. A special emphasis will be placed on the scientific contributions of students and young professionals and the best presentations and posters will be honored with the Susan Small Student Award.
The scientific symposium will be accompanied by a wonderful social program including a visit to the world cultural heritage, the Cologne Cathedral, a boat trip on the beautiful Rhine river and a visit of the legendary Drachenfels (dragon rock). Cologne is a wonderful, cosmopolitan city with open-minded, fun-loving people with over 2000 years of history, the Cologne Cathedral, the musical dome, interesting museums and a wide variety of shops, bars, restaurants and the typical breweries serving the fresh local “Kölsch” beer. Cologne also has a strong history of perfume and chocolate!
September is a wonderful time to travel and our meeting in Cologne can be used as an end or starting point for many more excursions in Germany and other European countries. We are very much looking forward to welcoming you in Cologne for an exciting IERASG symposium, a face to face meeting with a fruitful scientific exchange and friendly meetings after a long time!
