The foundation trainees surgical societies have organised a national conference open to all medical students, junior doctors and core trainees aimed at providing an inspirational and informative event for those interested in a future surgical career. The main theme for this year’s conference is sustainability and the future of surgery. The conference builds on the success of last year’s virtual event, and the foundation trainees surgical society is immensely proud to organise an in person event this year, allowing for great networking opportunities, to meet fellow foundation trainees wishing to pursue surgical careers and hear about research and innovation from across the country in the surgical field. Keynote speakers will be announced in due course. There will be opportunities for poster presentations and abstract submissions during the conference.
The conference is primarily aimed at medical students, foundation trainees and core surgical trainees.
