The ST3 accelerated learning course “Bootcamp” provides newly appointed registrars with the aptitudes, skills and knowledge to commence their new post with confidence. It employs a variety of teaching platforms to acquire the essential skills required for day one as an ENT registrar. Animal, manikin, virtual & mixed reality, touch surgery platforms in conjunction with NOTSS, Tracheostomy tube management, simulated ward rounds and emergencies in ENT lectures delivered through MS Teams provide a diverse interactive and engaging educational experience. The course is highly valued and considered to be a “must-attend” by newly appointed Registrars.
