It is our pleasure to announce the third hands-on course dedicated to the endoscopic ear surgery in the central Europe. The previous courses were highly anticipated and well appreciated by participants. Their feedback highlighted the world renowned faculty; and the quality of freshly frozen temporal bones which very reliably resembled an ear of a real patient.
The Central European Endoscopic Ear Surgery Course is meant to offer to trainees the first insight in the value of endoscope during ear procedures and to experienced ear surgeons expertise that would allow them to incorporate endoscopes to their routine clinical practice.
We are honoured to offer you again a team of excellent lecturers who will come and share their knowledge and expertise with the course participants during two days packed with theoretical information combined with practical experience. Prof. João Flávio Nogueira, one of the dominant proponents of endoscopic ear surgery, accepted our invitation to join us in person on 2022 course. He is a brilliant speaker. Despite having planned to arrive even in 2021, he was not allowed to board his air plane just hours before departure due to a positive test. We are all looking forward to having him in Olomouc in person. Dr. Jan Vodička is one of the first endoscopic ear surgeons in Czechia. He has started with TEES a few years ago and ever since he has performed numerous endoscopic cases. He is an excellent tutor tirelessly circulating among course attendees to share his expertise.
The course will be conducted in the modern facility in the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry of The Palacky University in Olomouc. The Olympus will provide us with state of art endoscopic towers. Additionally, Grace Medical will offer course participants an opportunity to practise with EndoEar endoscopic instruments which integrate suction and dissection function simultaneously.
