It is our pleasure to announce the second hands-on course dedicated to endoscopic ear surgery in central Europe. The 2019 course was very well accepted by the participants. They highly appreciated the course faculty – M. Tarabichi, D. Lee and A. Mikulec; the quality of freshly frozen temporal bones which very reliably resembled an ear of a real patient.

Unfortunately, the COVID pandemic significantly interfered with our lives. Due to the pandemic, we were forced to postpone the event. We are pleased to open registration to the 2021 course since the COVID numbers continue to decline in most countries.

The Central European Endoscopic Ear Surgery Course is meant to offer trainees the first insight in the value of endoscope during ear procedures and to experienced ear surgeons expertise that would allow them to incorporate the endoscopes to their routine practice.

We are honoured to offer you again a team of renowned lecturers who will come and share their knowledge and expertise with the course participants during two days packed with theoretical information combined with practical experience. Following surgeons accepted our invitation: Prof. João Flávio Nogueira is one of the dominant proponents of endoscopic ear surgery. His talks and lectures are always both educational and entertaining.; Prof. Michael Cohen from the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary is an excellent surgeon with long experience in paediatric endoscopic ear surgery. He will be joining us online. Dr. Jan Vodička is one of the first endoscopic ear surgeons in Czechia. He started with TEES a few years ago and ever since he has performed hundreds of endoscopic cases.

After enjoying great experience with the Otoskills Trainer by Grace Medical 2 years ago, we plan to offer the opportunity to practise fine motor skills to all course participants again.

The course will be conducted in the modern facility in the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry of The Palacky University in Olomouc.
