The Course Includes:
Advanced clinical examination including head impulse testing in three planes, heave test, horizontal and vertical head shake.
Advanced laboratory testing.
Peripheral vestibular disorders resulting in unilateral and bilateral vestibular loss (neuronitis, labyrinthitis, otoxicity, Meniere’s syndrome, idiopathic causes).
BPPV: differential diagnosis and treatment, tips for difficult cases.
Central disorders: cerebellar degeneration, migraine, MS.
Rehabilitation: when to refer, who to refer, what to expect. Management of complex unilateral and bilateral vestibular loss.
