he Advanced Facial Aesthetic Surgery course is organised annually by Nottingham University Hospital and Doncaster Royal Infirmary and run by Mr Ullas Raghavan and Prof Anshul Sama at the City Hospital, Nottingham. The aim of this course is to provide high quality training to the senior higher surgical trainees, fellows and consultants in ENT, Maxillofacial surgery, Plastic surgery and Occuloplastic surgery who are interested in Facial Plastic Surgery. Following lectures, hand on experience is provided by fresh frozen cadaver dissection with one cadaver head per dissector.
An international and national expert faculty from different specilaities gives lectures and demonstrates each procedure and is available for one to one help during dissection. In the recent past, we have had delegates in multiple disciplines from UK, Belgium, Spain, Portugal, Germany and Bahrain.
This course is supported by Storz and Stryker.
