The host committee are extremely proud to host the 59th South African ENT / AAO-HNS / SAAA / SASLHA conference at the Century City Conference Centre in Cape Town on 20-22 October 2023. We aim to make this an extraordinary event that encourages considerable networking and sharing of best practise paradigms.
With the theme “Back to basics,” the conference will explore which principles are essential for excellence in surgery in this fast paced and ever-changing world. We would like to examine how individuals, collaborations, and organisations may adapt, thrive, and continue to strive towards distinction in both our personal capacity as busy professionals, but also as innovative medical specialists.
Urbanisation and globalisation have had a tremendous impact of the medical fraternity. Including the accessibility, feasibility, and sustainability of essential skill sets, how health care is organised, what is required from healthcare providers, but also what healthcare providers need to ensure continued service.
Part of the goal of this conference is to provide a comfortable, collegial atmosphere to encourage high-level interdisciplinary exchange of the newest research highlights, collaborations and effective networking opportunities between researchers, practitioners, policy makers and representatives of consumer organisations.
The state-of-the-art plenary sessions and workshops will focus on emerging, exciting topics and we invite members to submit abstracts of their latest work to be presented orally or as posters. Please remember to register promptly to take advantage of early bird offers.
