This course aims to build on the successes of the last four years and will focus on some of the less common head and neck problems that arise in clinical practice. The day will consist of evidence-based sessions that will consider the management of a number of conditions and derive an algorithm of care based on the currently available literature.
The afternoon will conclude with Lord Hutton of Bresagh, retired Law Lord, who will offer a personal perspective of the impact of health service reform on cancer care. Lord Hutton is perhaps best known for his judicial inquiry into the circumstances surrounding the death of David Kelly, a biological warfare expert and former UN weapons inspector in Iraq. The meeting will be interactive with ample opportunity to discuss illustrative cases presented by the faculty
