The inaugural Hospital for Sick Children International Paediatric Temporal Bone Surgery Course is intended for otologists and paediatric otolaryngologists with a desire to provide state of the art ear surgery in children.
Endoscopic and microscopic skills will be enhanced with adult cadaveric and paediatric model temporal bones for cochlear implantation, implantable hearing aids, ossiculoplasty, cholesteatoma and atresia surgery.
Supplementary courses on paediatric vestibular disorders and temporal bone radiology are included. The course is run by experienced paediatric otologists in a renowned Surgical Skills Centre.
