COBLATION™ course will feature scientific lectures, workshops and open discussions, enabling the delegate to learn more about COBLATION™ tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy and to obtain certification of attendance. The subject around different methods of tonsillar tissue removal is explored in depth as well as step-by-step guides to best practice. PAEDIATRIC SURGICAL AIRWAYS – content will include animal models enabling the understanding of the principles and practice of procedures such as aryepiglottoplasty, arytenoidectomy, foreign body retrieval, balloon dilatation of stenosis, tracheostomy, laryngotracheal reconstruction, cricothyroid reconstruction
CONTENT AND DELIVERY
The programme is based on trainees
rotating through specifically designed
skill stations. These will be interspersed
by a few short didactic lectures.
