We are proud to announce the Singapore Allergy & Rhinology Course 2012 which will be held in Singapore from 12-14 July 2012. The course is co-presented with the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy (AAOA) and the ASEAN Rhinology Society (ARS). This course follows the hugely successful Basic and Advanced Allergy Courses held in 2010 and 2011 respectively. With the many positive feedback and encouragement from our participants and friends, we have gone on to organise this course. To increase the amount of participation, we have added in Rhinology topics to emphasise the increased areas of overlap in allergy and inflammatory topics that is often found concurrently in our ENT practice. As part of our effort to engage the primary care and junior ENT doctors, we have also planned sessions of panel discussion on common daily topics as well as giving sufficient Q & A time. Allergy is a multi-systemic disease, it can manifest in many areas of ENT practice. This course will not only revise salient basic concepts taught in the Basic Course but also have in-depth discussion on other allergy related topics including Sleep Disorders, Food Allergy, Asthma, Atopic Dermatitis, and Updates in Immunotherapy. There will once again be Hands-on Practicum on Skin Prick Testing and Asthma Evaluation. The Latest Innovation and the Future of Allergy Treatment will also be shared. In our continued effort to encourage fellowship and academic participation, we have set up a special session for presentation of papers by trainees and fellows. The top few presentations will receive a special award during the course and their papers will be revised under the mentorship of both AAOA and ASEAN regional leaders for publication in the prestigious International journals, such as Forum of Allergy & Rhinology journal. – We look forward to having you with us at the Singapore Rhinology & Allergy Course. Thank you!
