It is a great pleasure for me to invite you to attend the FACEISTANBUL 2016 Meeting and Cadaver Dissection Course, to be held in Istanbul, Turkey, on June 1-4, 2016.
FACEISTANBUL 2016 contains a two day meeting and a two day hands on cadaver dissection course following the first part. There will be internationally renowned faculties from Turkey, Europa and USA for a truely enriching scientific program. Each session within the meeting has been prepared for an extensive and comprehensive learning opportunity for the novel surgeon and a chance to refresh their knowledge for the experienced surgeon. All issues concerning ageing face surgery and and related cosmetic procedures will be covered, including facelifting, browlifting, midfacelifting, necklifting, blepharoplasty, liposuction, fat injection, as well as botox, filler, skin resurfacing and nonsurgical facial rejuvenation modalities. This year, both the meeting and the course will also cover rhinoplasty, otoplasty, and facial reconstruction. The first whole day of the cadaver dissection course will be on ageing face surgery, and the second day on rhinoplasty, otoplasty and reconstruction. Attendees of the cadaver dissection course will have the opportunity to perform these operations under the guidance of an exceptional faculty.
FACEISTANBUL is performed under the auspice of European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery, and with the courtesy of Gentek (STORZ) in Ac?badem University’s excellent facilities. Both, the meeting and the course is held in English, and there is simultaneous Turkish translation during the lectures.
Besides the fullfilling scientific program, Istanbul is a fantastic city embodying the ideal unification of modern wonders with fabulous history. It is located on the Bosphorus strait as the only major city in the world that links two continents and many cultures and religions. Three separate empires ruled the world from this powerful capital – the Roman, the Byzantines and the Ottomans. For more than 3000 years, this city has been at a crossroads of cultures, a rendezvous of the East and West. Today, Istanbul is Turkey’s most populous city, and its cultural and financial centre blending the ancient and the modern in a seamless tapestry of life.
