The morning is primarily dedicated to a variety of lectures by sub-specialists and educators in ENT.  We have hosted many inspirational speakers including the ENT UK presidents, the college tutor, the director of education for ENT UK and many more.

Lunch enables delegates to network and benefit from access to both junior and senior faculty to discuss various stages of the career path in ENT and get an insight into the experience as well as useful tips.

The afternoon session is dedicated to interactive skills workshops. This usually takes place in the in the Wellcome Anatomy and Pathology museum and the college hall.    Delegates rotate through various practical stations covering the management of epistaxis, nasendoscopy, direct laryngoscopy, suturing skills, myringotomy and grommet insertion, removal of foreign body from the ear, and airway management including tracheostomy.

Overall, the aim of the day is to provide an excellent overview of a career in ENT and to enthuse participants both novices and inspiring surgeons into pursuing a career in our wonderful speciality, and to provide you with the first stepping stones to do so.
