On behalf of the local organizing committee, it is both an honor and a pleasure to announce the convening of the 7th Asia pacific Otology Neurotology meeting in Tehran, Iran, 11-13May, 2016. The 1st Congress of PONS (Persian Otology Neurotology Skull Base Surgery) group is also scheduled to be held at the same time.
I am very proud that this scientific event will be held in the ancient country of Iran. I would like to express my cordial thanks to the founders and previous presidents of the society.
Our primary objective of the meeting is to bring together up-and-coming researchers to present and actively discuss up-to-date research results from the fields of otology and Neurotology. Nothing would bring me more pleasure than to see the new insights obtained at this meeting applied clinically and to future research.
Capital of Iran, Tehran, is a metropolitan with beautiful view and nature of north of Iran mountains. Being capital of dynasties Iran makes this city a rich historical place to visit. Spring is the most beautiful days of the year in Tehran, and participants of the meeting will enjoy a comfortable stay there.
We will do our best to make this event a memorable scientific experience with good coverage of otology-neurotology topics and interesting workshops.
