On behalf of the local organising committee for the 10th International Tinnitus Research Initiative, we warmly welcome you to Nottingham, UK on 16-18 March 2016. The focus of the conference is ‘Tinnitus: subtypes, mechanisms and interventions’. Over three days, we will explore basic mechanisms underlying tinnitus, as well as many areas of translational and clinical research. Keynote and invited speakers are all world leaders representing a range of disciplines. Importantly, the event is also the first conference of the EU COST Action (TINNET): a unique international network focusing on subtyping tinnitus, identification of their neural correlates and effective diagnosis and management. We expect this special event to attract academics, clinicians and students from around the globe. For students, early-career researchers and clinicians, we are delighted to offer a range of competitive bursaries with a closing date for applications of 13 December 2015.
