Event Cost
Compromised airway conditions cause obstruction of the respiratory tract and present with difficulties in breathing. Sometimes a tracheostomy (an opening in the windpipe) is done to relieve such an obstruction. Our unit has performed a large number of airway reconstructions in children and adults. It is part of the Service of Otorhinolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery.
