Birmingham plays host to the Combined British Universities Course in Advanced Surgical Otology. The course will take place in the Medical School at The University of Birmingham. Come and join our prestigious faculty and extend your skills in Otology.
The course includes lectures, video presentations, discussion and debate by faculty and delegates.
A major feature of the course is the opportunity to carry out supervised advanced dissection techniques on half heads. Delegates are allocated individual workstations, and the opportunity to dissect two specimens each. Additionally, there will be a prize for the best dissection by a trainee as judged by the faculty. Also includes lecture notes, lunch and refreshments, course dinner in local restaurants. Recommended as an opportunity for both training and for established consultants to consolidate their skills in a relaxed academic environment.
