The program includes more than 50 live surgery procedures performed by expert surgeons in otology & neurotology. Live surgeries will cover all fields of middle ear and skull base surgery: Meatoplasty, EAC exostosis, Myringoplasty, Ossiculoplasty, Stapes Surgery, Implantable Hearing Devices, Cochlear Implants, Implantable Hearing Aids, BAHA, Brainstem Implants, Mastoidectomy with Canal Wall up and Canal Wall Down procedures, Subtotal Petrosectomy, Surgery for Meniere Disease (Endolymphatic Sac Decompression, Vestibular Nerve Section), Acoustic neuroma, neurovascular conflict, intralabyrinthine approach to the petrous apex.
All surgeons will operate from the operating room of the Medizinischen Hochshule Hannover. The live surgery session will be transmitted live via the LION network.
