1st Operation Ear Drop Endoscopic Ear Surgery Course

Operation Ear Drop Kenya in association with the University of Nairobi, Kenya ENT Society and Kenyatta National  Hospital, will be holding the first Endoscopic Ear Surgery Course In East Africa. This is a hands on cadaveric dissection course in which there will alsobe essential didactic lectures. Participants will spend considerable time on dissections and will have the opportunity to carry out endoscopic soft tissue dissection, endoscopic approaches to the tympanic membrane and tympaniccavity. The exercises will include endoscopic atticotomy, antrostomy and ossicular chain reconstruction. There will be opportunity to dissect the inner ear and follow the facial nerve.
Instructional lectures covering the rational of transcanal ear surgery and endoscopic management of cholesteatoma will be included.

Instruments, endoscopes camera and workstations will be made available for all participants.
