Event Cost
The basic course is designed to introduce sialendoscopy to newcomers, and also to provide key concepts in the field. All the indications for sialendoscopy (stones and strictures) will be presented, showing the importance of sialendoscopy as a highly sensitive and specific diagnostic but also interventional tool.
Step by step learning will be provided, for optimal treatment of patients. Special attention will be given to the handling of the papilla and different sialendoscopes. The highlight of the Basic course is the hand’s on performed on fresh pig heads, during 2 consecutive afternoons, under close supervision from an international faculty of experts. This beginner’s course will end with a whole day of live surgery, transmitted in 3D to the auditorium.
